Chris Bird is a patent and trade marks attorney with expertise in all aspects of patent work, particularly in the computer science and engineering disciplines. Chris Bird has extensive experience in matters relating to the use and exploitation of intellectual property rights through licensing and other commercialisation routes for a number of significant clients. Chris’s primary areas of responsibility in our patent and trade marks attorney group include the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, patent opposition work, and advice on patent validity and infringement matters, predominantly in technical fields relating to computer technology and advanced engineering. He represents a wide variety of clients both local and overseas, and has been working closely with companies such as Australia Post, Paper Australia, Sensis, Vividas Technologies and Mitsubishi Australia.
