Corporate Counsel (Managed Funds) - ING Australia

Reporting to the Legal Manager, you will focus on providing strategic legal advice to the core business units within ING Australia in relation to managed investment schemes and related law. The key areas of responsibilities will include:

* Working on all aspects of small M&A transactions: due diligence, drafting and negotiating sale docusments, completion/integration
* Briefing and managing external lawyers on larger M&A transactions (in total smaller and larger M&A work, approx 30% - 50% workload)
* General commercial contracts - drafting, reviewing, negotiating, advising (30% - 40%)
* IT/IP* (10 - 20%), advising on JV documents establishing INGA (5%), general corporate (5%), Property leases (5%)

Your success will in this role will draw on your:
Corporate and general commercial experience.
5 years PAE Experience and strong drafting Skills
Experience in financial services law and in-house experience or secondment (preferred)
Ideally you will be self motivated, results oriented, be able to think strategically and provide practical, solutions focussed advice.
