Mallesons Stephen Jaques has a highly regarded Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) team, with an enviable list of clients. The IP dispute resolution area has a high profile, and is constantly involved in complex, “cutting-edge” matters involving trade marks, copyright, passing off, misleading and deceptive conduct, confidential information and patents. Their work is often viewed as setting the benchmark in the industry. Working closely with the partner, you will take an active role in the carriage of these matters, with a focus on brand protection and copyright litigation. You will have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior members of the team and engage in practice development.

Applications are encouraged from experienced IP litigators (or general litigators keen to develop a new expertise) who are at, or on the cusp of, Senior Associate level. Experience in anti-counterfeiting matters would be a bonus. You will be accustomed to top-tier litigation and providing excellent client service.
