Rodney De Boos - Davies Collison Cave

Rodney De Boos’ major area of practice at DCC is the commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights. Rodney De Boos’ practice includes the negotiation and preparation of commercial agreements, covering the full spectrum of intellectual property rights and transactions. Rodney De Boos also provides intellectual property, commercial and trade practices advice. Rodney De Boos has been involved in numerous private company acquisitions of various sizes and the conduct of due diligence enquiries and intellectual property audits. In his practice, Rodney De Boos acts for inventors, leading academic and research institutions through to large multi-national corporations.

Rodney De Boos also lectures in intellectual property licensing at a post graduate level and is an author of many published articles both in Australia and internationally, and is the author of the chapter on the exploitation of patents in the Law Book Company publication “Laws of Australia”.

Rodney De Boos spent 13 years with the ICI Australia Group of Companies; including one year in the United Kingdom with Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd. Rodney De Boos then ran his own commercial law practice for three years before merging his firm to form Davies Collison Cave Solicitors.
