Trevor Stevens is the Senior Partner of the DCC’s Trade Marks group, specialising in trade mark opposition proceedings. Trevor Stevens’ practice also includes conducting trade mark searches and providing trade mark infringement advice. Over a period of many years Trevor Stevens has conducted numerous hearings before the Australian Registrar of Trade Marks with an exceptionally high success rate. Trevor Stevens’ clients in such proceedings include many major U.S. corporations.
In the 2005 International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, Trevor Stevens was rated as Australia’s leading trade marks lawyer for trade mark opposition proceedings. The accolade is derived from six months of independent research by Who’s Who that incorporated feedback from lawyers and in-house counsel in 60 jurisdictions. Trevor Stevens lectures in trade mark law in the post-graduate program at the University of Technology, Sydney and at the University of Melbourne. Trevor Stevens has served on the Board of Directors of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) and is editor of the INTA Bulletin. Trevor Stevens is also an examiner for the Professional Standards Board for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys.
